Seeking an enthusiastic, competitive, dependable, and dedicated individual for an Administrative Assistant position at Preferred Physical Therapy.

Purpose of this Position:

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing tactical support for the rest of the team by helping to boost their efficiency, improve KPI's and ultimately support the company in achieving its MISSION of helping people make better decisions about their health.

The Administrative Assistant will be helping us to grow this company from a "start-up" - all the way to becoming a 5 STAR provider of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in Arizona.

A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to keep up with computer technologies.

Benefits in Kind: $18-$22 per hour

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday

Paid Time Off

  • PTO (To Be Negotiated) is offered to all full-time employees; including paid holidays and sick/ personal leave.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule follow-up appointments, and support patients at check-in.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, scanning, etc.
  • Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Support team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations for patients.
  • Initiate, modify, and accurately complete new patient setup.
  • Following up on documentation, including referrals, scripts, evaluation reports, and Medicare certification documents.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
